To avoid security risks, it's time to upgrade to a newer version of Office. The good news is that your library can get free cloud-based Microsoft Office 365 for your administrative PCs from Microsoft Academic, or you can get donated on-premises Microsoft Office Standard 2019 from TechSoup. Here's how to get them.   Everything You Need to Know About the Library 2.0 Rural Mini-Conference   We're excited to announce a June Library 2.0 mini-conference that is being co-organized by TechSoup. That's a lot of newsbytes! Grant Opportunity of the Month: Kinder Morgan Foundation Grants   The Kinder Morgan Foundation donates more than $1 million each year to youth programs. Grants are between $5,000 and $20,000.   A library is eligible to apply if it is located within 30 miles of the following areas of Kinder Morgan's operations: Birmingham, AL, Phoenix, AZ, Tucson, AZ, Concord, CA, Carson, CA, Colorado Springs, CO, Lakewood, CO, Tampa, FL, Alpharetta, GA, Downers Grove, IL, Chicago, IL, Shreveport, LA, Port Sulphur, LA, Harvey, LA, Williston, ND, Port Newark, NJ, Tulsa, OK, Midland, TX, Pasadena, TX, Houston, TX, El Paso, TX, Norfolk, VA, Vancouver, WA, Calgary, AB, North Vancouver, BC.   Grant applications are due by May 1.
